One woman, a pharmaceutical chemist was in the lab one day going about her business. She had been working on developing a drug to cure a disease that was affecting people that she cared most about, and she wanted to participate in the groundbreaking research to help those she loved the most. She was most comfortable in the laboratory, and was very precise in her measurements. She was very comfortable doing her research. This day was unlike most others though. Normally the woman was able to work in peace and quiet with little distractions. Her boss, a stern, cold woman, came in that day to watch over the chemist. The boss had noticed that the chemist hadn't made much progress, and was perhaps not doing what she was supposed to be doing. Therefore, the boss watched over the chemist, and to her surprise, the chemist was very diligent and worked very hard in the lab. This went to show that the boss should have had more confident in her employees, and understood that research takes time. Later, the boss talked to the chemist's coworker and explained that she was upset that the other person would make false accusations about the chemist.
